Festive Sugar-Free Apple Cider Martini

The holiday season is the perfect time to get creative with entertaining, especially when it comes to crafting festive cocktails that everyone can enjoy. If you’re like me and looking for sugar-free and low carb options, you’ll love this easy-to-make apple cider martini, ideal for Thanksgiving or any holiday gathering.

Creating the Festive Rim: Begin by prepping your martini glass with a festive rim. Simply run a slice of lemon around the rim and then twirl it in a mix of brown sugar sweetener and cinnamon. The lemon juice helps the sweetener stick, creating a delicious, low carb cinnamon sugar rim.

Mixing the Martini: While apple cider does have a bit more carbs, using just two ounces per cocktail keeps the carb count to about seven grams per drink, a fair compromise for holiday cheer. In a shaker full of ice, combine the apple cider, vodka, and brown sugar simple syrup. The syrup is easy to make – just mix equal parts hot water and brown sugar sweetener, shake well, and it can be stored in the fridge for up to two to three weeks. Add a few dashes of orange bitters to the shaker, give it a good shake, and pour it into your prepared glass.

Garnishing Your Drink: For the final touch, add a garnish of a slice of apple and a cinnamon stick. This not only makes the drink look beautiful but also adds to the festive flavors.
