We’ve been making fresh homemade almond milk ever since i got my new nut milk bag from Ellie’s Best and it’s so simple and delicious! My sons pretty much immediately use half of it with their cereal – and I’ll use it for chia pudding and keto smoothies, or keto golden milk. I’ll never go back to buying almond milk again!
It’s so easy to make, super nutritious and free of all the added preservatives and other additives found in store-bought nut milks. Plus, it’s significantly cheaper! Win, win, win! Homemade almond milk ?stays fresh for up to 3 days, though we seem to be making it every 2 – 3 days because we can’t get enough!
Is Almond Milk Keto-Friendly?
I get this question quite often, and the answer is YES! Unsweetened almond milk is low in carbs and a great, much healthier option to cow’s milk. You have to be careful with store-bought almond milk – read the labels! Many brands have added sugar or fillers that you can avoid by making homemade almond milk where you can control everything that goes in it!
