One of the hardest things I had to give up on Keto was my coffee. Well, more specifically, the SUGARY CREAMER in my coffee. While I have been drinking Bulletproof coffee for years, I did use Sugar-Free Coffee-Mate in it. While some people use Sugar-Free creamers in their Keto diet and it’s technically ok on Keto, the sweeteners used aren’t the healthiest options: they use Maltodextrin, Carrageenan and Sucralose which all have their issues, which I’ll get into on another post.
So while I was 100% fine with substituting my beloved creamer with heavy whipping cream, it took me a while to find a sweetener that gave me the same satisfaction without the unhealthy side effects of some options and didn’t leave a nasty aftertaste.
Enter Sweetdrops Liquid Stevia. They come in a variety of flavors – Chocolate and French Vanilla are my faves – don’t leave an aftertaste and with most stevia-based products, a little goes a LONG way. Just a couple of drops literally does the trick, which means a $7.99 bottle – which touts 288 servings – will go a long way. I have been using mine daily (alternating between Chocolate and French Vanilla Sweet Drops) and have barely made a dent!
