When I started this keto journey almost two years ago, I did my research and was 100% sure about the science behind ketosis, how it works and why I was pretty sure it would be the solution for me as I moved on into my 40s and beyond. These keto diet before and after photos just AMAZE me when I look at them. The keto diet – or keto lifestyle as I prefer to refer to it – has truly changed me from the inside out and now at close to two years in, I’m maintaining a 50 pound weight loss, my skin looks better and brighter than ever before and I have more energy and a clearer mind than ever before.

Face-To-Face Before and After
I started Ketology as a passion project because I wanted to spread the word about how keto is, in my humble opinion, the best lifestyle specifically for women approaching and over 40. My day job, is as a marketing and business growth consultant, and I often shoot videos offering tips for small business owners.
Anyway, while I was shooting a video last month, I had to reference a video from two years prior…In addition to my body transformation, look at my face! Gone is the sugar and carb bloat – my cheeks are more defined and all the puff and “carb face” is gone. This before and after diet shot is probably my favorite because while yes, my body looks better and I feel so much better, the lack of bloat isn’t about vanity, I just look unhealthy in the before shot with all the excess bloat.

Again, because of my day job, I often have my photo taken for articles, social media and other uses. In 2017, I did a photo shoot for the launch of my online course for female entrepreneurs and decided to take a couple of photos in the same clothes to really demonstrate the transformation. An important note: this is all due to living a keto diet lifestyle. I have always loved to exercise and my exercise routine hasn’t changed muck since going keto – I work out about three times a week and that’s been consistent pretty much my whole life. These keto transformations are TRUE keto diet before and after success stories!
I actually was so shy about my figure, that in the “before” photos, I didn’t even have the photographer shoot my full body but now I am proud to celebrate it!
I know I say it over and over, but while the physical and aesthetic transformation has been so rewarding, truly, the way I feel – no more brain fog, I don’t have that afternoon slump, I have insane amounts of energy and my skin is clear and smooth – has been the greatest keto gift of all!
