Keto Cereal Done Right: Catalina Crunch Cinnamon Toast

I’ve given the keto-friendly cereal options out there a fair shake as far as trying the different options out there. I love the Magic Spoon varieties and others haven’t really hit the mark for me. I’m not a big breakfast person and usually break my fast around noon or 1pm, however my son who recently went partially keto and cut out all refined sugar is a huge cereal fan so when I saw that Catalina Crunch’s Keto Cinnamon Toast cereal is now stocked at Costco, I had to grab it for my son.

I’m a fan of Catalina Crunch’s cookies — specifically their Oreo dupe which is one of my go-to treats. However i have to say, this cereal is another home run for the brand. It tastes EXACTLY like Cinnamon Toast Crunch and comes in at 5g of net carbs per serving. The little cinnamon toast squares are smaller than its sugary counterpart and pack all the flavor, 11g of of protein and 9g of fiber. Their “Catalina Flour” is the secret ingredient which is combines pea protein with various fibers to bring down the carb count

Catalina Crunch Cinnamon Toast Keto Cereal is now available at Costco

I’ve found that many keto and low-carb cereals taste good, but completely disintegrate when you add in your milk, but the Catalina Crunch Cinnamon Toast cereal stays VERY crunchy and delicious…and you end up with that delicious cinnamon-flavored milk that’s so good and refreshing. I literally just had a mini-bowl as a snack to test it out and had to write this review immediately because I was so impressed.

I also love that this keto cereal is sweetened with a combination of stevia and monkfruit. While I do like the Catalina Crunch keto cookies, they do use cane sugar — a tiny amount, but I still don’t love that fact which is why I’ve never written a formal review of their cookies because the cane sugar in my mind doesn’t make it “true” keto.

The Catalina Crunch Keto Cereal however DEFINITELY gets 5-stars in my book!
