After having two children, she found that managing her weight and moods became more and more of a struggle. After researching the ketogenic diet thoroughly and understanding the science and nutritional aspects, she began her keto journey in 2018. Within three months, she shed 25 pounds and her mood improved, focus sharpened and her energy was through the roof. Four years later, she has maintained a 65-pound weight loss and has learned to intuitively follow a balanced keto lifestyle without sacrificing a thing!

I’ve never been a big cereal person – I have always preferred eggs or waffles (and now chaffles) for breakfast. Aside from a Captain Crunch with Crunch Berries phase in college, I’ve never craved cereal. My children however, who have slowly been getting on the low carb and sugar-free bandwagon, love cereal. So while I’d been hearing the buzz about Magic Spoon being the keto and low carb cereal holy grail, I never tried it until my sons heard about it and begged to try it.

magic spoon low carb cerealOn the MagicSpoon.com site, you can only buy their low carb cereal in packs of 4 boxes, so we opted for the variety pack which includes their most popular cereals: Fruity, Frosted, Cocoa and Blueberry. With only 3g of net carbs per serving and 11g of protein, I was impressed with the ingredients which are high quality and not like many other “low carb” and “keto” dupes that are filled with chemicals and not-so-ideal ingredients. Magic Spoon sweetens their cereals with a blend of Allulose, Stevia and Monkfruit and their cereals have avocado oil and use natural sources for color.

Low Carb Cereal for Adults – And it Tastes Great!

So while the flavors?sound?more kid-friendly and not like the more “adult” (read: boring) options, these cereals are DELICIOUS and the whole family will love them. Our 4-pack didn’t even last a week – my boys loved each flavor and I actually finished off the Cocoa Magic Spoon cereal myself – while I didn’t have it for breakfast, I loved snacking on the dry cereal with some almonds or pecans. We’ve already placed a second order — my only request, which I’ve been told will be coming soon — is to buy cereals a la carte vs in a pre-determined pack.

Magic Spoon is available as a variety pack of 12 single-serving boxes for $29, 4-pack variety box or of an individual flavor for $39, 5-pack variety box for $45. Visit MagicSpoon.com to purchase.

UPDATE: You can now buy Magic Spoon’s keto and gluten free cereals a la carte and mix and match flavors!
