We’re big on burgers in our household – and along with our standard Taco Tuesdays, we usually have burgers on Mondays. Last night, I decided to try to recreate In ‘N Out’s delicious spread for our burger night and it was a hit. All I really did was swap regular ketchup with no sugar added ketchup (Sir Kensington’s is my favorite) and instead of relish, I diced fresh pickles (also no sugar added) and added a bit of the pickle juice to the spread mix. Keto burger recipes are among the easiest and most satisfying keto meals — paired with jicama fries, keto burger night just leveled up!
We topped our burgers with bacon, caramelized onions and cheddar – and I added some chilies – wrapped them in romaine lettuce (or you can use your favorite lettuce wrap or cabbage leaves) and devoured! There are also some decent keto burger bun options – my favorite is SmartBUN or I make Cloud Bread, however I actually prefer the cabbage or lettuce wrap to a keto bun alternative! We also recently discovered frozen Wagyu Beef Patties at Costco that are our new go-to burger – if you can’t find the Wagyu version, their Grass Fed Beef Burgers in the frozen section are a great option to keep in your freezer whenever you get that burger craving!
