  • 2 skinless, boneless chicken breasts cut in half
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1/2 cup pork rind crumbs
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter

Spice Blend:

  • 3 tablespoons cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons brown sweetener e.g., Swerve
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Spice Blend:

  • Begin by creating your spice blend. Mix cayenne pepper, paprika, chili powder, brown sweetener, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl. Set aside.

Preparing the Chicken:

  • Slice each chicken breast in half so that they fit perfectly on your bun.
  • Coat the chicken with half of the spice blend generously. Allow it to marinate in the refrigerator for about an hour.

Coating Mixture:

  • In a shallow bowl, combine Greek yogurt, one egg, a few dashes of your favorite hot sauce, and a touch of water. Whisk until well blended.

Breadcrumb Substitute:

  • In another shallow bowl, mix almond flour and pork rind crumbs. Season with salt and pepper.

Coating the Chicken:

Air Frying:
